Google Analytics 4 (GA4) helps track and analyze the performance of your website. By connecting GA4 to your store, you have access to valuable insights about your visitors, their behavior, and the overall performance of your site.
Step 1:Create Google Analytics 4
If you don't already have GA4, follow these steps to create it:
- Visitanalytics.Google.com.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click on"Settings" (Admin)(In the lower left corner).
- Under Account Settings, click"Create property" (Create property).
- EnterName of property(For example, the name of your website).
- ChooseStateand,The time zone, andCurrency.
- Select the size of your business and choose how you will use your Google Analytics account (select all appropriate options), and then click"Create" (Create).
- Choose"Web" (Web)As a data source.
- EnterLink to your storeName the source of your data (for example:"My store data source"), then click
- "Create a Data Source" (Create Stream).
Step 2:Get a measurement ID (Measurement ID)
You will need:
Knowledge of measurement(Measurement ID)
The secret value(Secret Value)
Find the measurement identifier:
In your GA4, go toSettings > Data Sources (Admin > Data Streams).
Click on your web data source.
CopyKnowledge of measurement(Such as:).
Step 3:Obtaining Secret Value (Secret Value)
Finding the Secret Value:
- In the same data source settings, scroll down"Measurement Protocol API Secrets".
- Click on"Create" (Create)Enter a name (such as:"Wuilt integration."
- CopyThe secret valuewhich was created.
Step 4:Connect GA4 to your Wuilt store
- Sign in to your Wuilt account.
- Go toApplication Center (App Center).
- Scroll down and click"Connect Google Analytics" (Connect Google Analytics).
Enter the following:
Knowledge of measurement:Paste the measurement ID you have copied from GA4.
The secret value:Paste the secret value created in GA4.
Click on"Connect" (Connect).
After clicking on"Link"It has been successfully prepared.
